Modern Niagara wins 2021 Bruce Power Award for Canada’s Safest Construction Employer
October 21, 2021 – Modern Niagara was named the winner of the Bruce Power Award for Canada’s Safest Construction Employer during the 2021 Canada’s Safest Employer Awards.
Modern Niagara also received the WSIB Award for Canada’s Best Health & Safety Culture, Excellence Award. Additionally, Erin Oliver, Modern Niagara’s Vice President of Health, Safety, and Sustainability, was awarded the Excellence Award of the Primoris Award for Safety Leader of the Year.
On job sites and in offices around the country, Modern Niagara’s health and safety team works alongside all members of the organization to ensure every employee has the information, tools, and equipment they need to be safe at all times.

Canada’s Safest Employers Awards were presented by Canadian Occupational Safety magazine at a virtual event that brings together occupational health and safety leaders and professionals from across Canada. Winners are selected based on a rigorous assessment that includes an employee perception survey.
