Project Highlights:

The RCMP set out to make its Surrey headquarters a first-rate working environment for employees. Modern Niagara Vancouver helped — in part by installing BC’s first-ever large-scale chilled beam system to provide highly efficient heating and cooling with less noise than conventional HVAC.

Our team participated in early design meetings for the four-building campus, providing technical support in the form of value engineering and alternate system approaches, with periodic budget updates, scheduling and constructability, and diligent project management to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery. We also provided design-assist services throughout the process, from conceptual design to full construction.

Along with the chilled-beam system, we installed additional HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, automated controls, data centre cooling, industrial ventilation and vehicle exhaust systems.
