Project Highlights:
The Joseph Brant Hospital Redevelopment project consisted of the construction of a new 7-storey patient care tower and redevelopment of the existing hospital, nearly doubling the hospital’s floor area to 800,000 square feet. For the redevelopment, Modern Niagara provided the building automation design guidance to consultant engineers throughout the P3 design process as well as new building automation system for the new patient care tower.
Modern Niagara’s scope on this project included supplying and installing all Mechanical Systems including:
- Multiple AHU Systems
- Energy Recovery Systems
- High Pressure Steam Systems
- Modular Dual Fired Boiler Systems
- Water-Cooled Chiller System
Modern Niagara’s scope also included Design/Consulting of BAS System as well as the supply, installation, and commissioning of the Building Automation Systems.
