Project Highlights:

Maximizing the efficiency of facilities like the FJ Horgan Water Treatment Plant translates directly into more fresh water for the city of Toronto on a daily basis. Modern Niagara was pleased to serve as prime electrical contractor on a project that helped boost the Horgan Plant’s capacity by 40%.

As part of the project, our team also installed high-efficiency motors and other equipment that helped bring the plant’s overall costs down.

Overall, our electrical services included:

• A major 600v distribution upgrade and a 4160v distribution system upgrade
• Fire alarm and security system installation
• Installation of 10 emergency backup generators
• Instrumentation and process flow upgrades
