One display of such creative problem solving came in response to a rising need for new ideas and measures that help keep our teams and communities safer and healthier. As a response, field teams from across the company took the initiative to create easy to use, hands-free, transportable, and cost-effective hand-washing stations that serve multiple individuals at a time. They require minimal steps to install outdoors or indoors. While the 4-faucet configuration is designed to be useful in the long term, up to 2 people can use it at a time during circumstances that require practicing physical distancing. These stations have helped improve the way public health guidelines are followed across the country.

At Modern Niagara, we are able to work towards common goals by maintaining a strong connection with one another. We communicate regularly through various touch points that cross over different management levels, teams, divisions, and regions.

Across the company, every team holds a daily huddle – a rundown of each person’s news, priorities, and help needed. Managers and their team members hold one-on-one check-ins at least once a month. Senior leaders, too, place communication at the top of their agenda, culminating into live Q&As with the Chief Executive Officer, weekly if not daily updates from the Chief Operating Officer, and more.
