Project Highlights:

High-end furniture manufacturer Keilhauer specializes in comfort. So when the rooftop units (RTUs) at two of the company’s sites couldn’t maintain comfortable temperatures for employees, Keilhauer called in Modern Niagara to come up with a plan to replace the aging equipment with new, high-efficiency RTUs.

The high-efficiency units led to annual savings of about $10,000 and a saveONenergy program incentive rebate worth more than $15,000.

Modern Niagara’s Energy Solutions team:

• Developed a capital replacement plan to remove and replace more than 20 RTUs from two different sites
• Replaced all RTUs during the weekend to ensure no downtime during normal business hours
• Prepared all the documentation and calculations Keilhauer needed to qualify for the energy incentive
