Wes Cressman, a Health & Safety Specialist for Modern Niagara in Toronto, was recently presented with a Citizen’s Citation by the Cambridge Police Service.

Wes performed CPR a heart attack victim at a local ice rink while playing in a seniors’ hockey game. Wes had completed his First Aid and CPR re-training just a week prior to incident. He performed CPR until paramedics arrived, and was later told that the victim, a man, had survived.

Wes encourages everyone to get First Aid and CPR training. He also hopes to see more defibrillators around offices and in community buildings.
